I am new to watercolor painting. So new that I didn’t even know there were tubes of watercolors! I really like these tube paints. They are more vibrant, vivid that watercolor pan paints. They are also easier for me to control the degree of watery-ness, hue, tint, and shade. They blend very well with other colors and spread easily and as expected. The color on the label is very close to the actual color and the cap screws on tightly to keep the paint from drying out.This is a great set of paints for beginner or intermediate. Anyone receiving this as a gift will be more than appreciative of your thoughtfulness.
These are my favorite things ever. I've been having so much fun with these and just wanting to paint everything. I've painted a few dinos and some rocks and a price of wood that I am going to use as a windwhime peice. On the things I used this on, worked so well. They flow so good and they stay on as perfectly as regular paint you would brush on. I am obsessed.
I’m just loving these , I got these for my new art craft work, it really helps in writing alphabets . Bright colors and worlds really good on wood and canvas.I didn’t tried yet on stones though. The item was delivered promptly and the contents are as advertised. These pens have medium brush tips that produce a watercolour-type effect similar to ‘wet on dry’ when applied directly to paper. The set includes a good range of basic colours that layer well. The pens and watercolour pad combination would make a handy travel gift for children and adults who enjoy a bit of holiday sketching without the mess of real watercolour. I am a beginner at painting and drawing, and have enjoyed experimenting with the pens. I am pleased with my purchase and would buy it again for myself or as a gift.
This was my first time using any such pens. The nibs are small so you can add fine detail and you do not have to press hard. It comes with two water brushes, but I used my own fine brush for this piece. The colours blend well and you need very little water. Great value for money and lots of colour variation too. Would recommend for a budding artists.
