Cony likes to post craft and DIY videos on her YouTube channel, Arte y Salud en Casa (Spanish for “art and health from home”). One of her interests is finding unique supplies whether manufactured or made at home. She agreed to test Chalkola chalk markers in her studio and found that they were a real asset to her scrapbooking and other interests.

Cony decorated items in her room as well as making an easel for a cute sign. Using things she already had in her room or around the house and Chalkola chalk markers, she shows five easy ways to decorate your space. Cony loves the brilliant colors of the markers and they are so easy to prepare. Her first project uses Popsicle sticks. She marks the tips where she intends to cut them. Lacking pliers or a knife and staying true to using what is available, Cony clips the rounded end off with nail clippers. She shows how to arrange the frame of her small easel. Here, she glues a small piece of Popsicle stick to the top of the easel to help it stand up. The support stick is glued to the crossbar she just installed. After gluing on a piece to fashion a shelf just like a real easel, she uses her favorite color nail polish to paint the easel. Cony finds a stray bit of plastic and a piece of black card stock in her supplies. She uses Washi tape to secure the plastic to the cardstock. The tape conveniently matches the color she painted the shelf of the easel but any color that pleases can be used. The plastic is an ideal surface for Chalkola chalk markers. Non porous surfaces are best since the markers wipe off with a damp cloth. The easel has dried and she sets it upright. Cony has made a cute sign for the easel with lettering and drawings. She places it on the easel, which holds it securely. This little easel was easy and fun to make. It’s small enough to fit into tight spaces but noticeable enough to affect the ambiance of the room. The sign can be erased easily and the writing and drawing replaced whenever it’s appropriate. Cony really enjoyed working with Chalkola chalk markers. The easel she made was just one of five easy ways she demonstrated to liven up a room using basic materials and Chalkola chalk markers. Also read –Chalkola Chalk Markers Brings A Laptop To Life
